Good Game Family is a nonprofit gaming organization focused on community, education, healthy gaming, mental wellness, and positive impact.
We are looking for a volunteer Community Manager to help lead and organize the community side of GGF as we continue growing.
This role will help oversee our Discord/community activity, community engagement, community volunteers, and future activations that support GGF’s mission.
This is not a “do everything alone” role. The goal is to build a small support team under the Community Manager over time, including help with Discord engagement, community events, stream team activity, and moderation support.
We need someone who can communicate consistently, follow through, and help bring structure to the community side of the organization.
Responsibilities
• Help keep the Discord/community active, welcoming, and
organized• Coordinate community engagement and basic Discord activity
• Help organize small community events, game nights, or activations
• Support community volunteers and help define their lanes
• Help build a small community support team over time
• Identify blockers, concerns, or community issues that need leadership attention
• Work with marketing when community events or activations need promotion
• Help keep community-related tasks and updates organized
• Support moderation standards and help maintain a positive community environment
• Help turn GGF’s mission into real community activity

Time Commitment
This is a volunteer position with flexible hours.
A realistic starting commitment would be around 3 to 5 hours per week, depending on availability and current community needs.
