Job Summary

Own community engagement operations by coordinating calendars, building and sustaining partner networks, and driving outreach impact to expand access to care in Ventura County.

  • Coordinate calendar and events to ensure well-staffed, mission-aligned outreach efforts.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with nonprofits, schools, faith groups, and local agencies.
  • Identify collaboration opportunities and measure outreach outcomes to inform program improvements.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage Conejo Free Clinic’s community engagement calendar, including tabling events and pop-up medical and dental screening events
  • Organize and support volunteers for outreach efforts, ensuring events are well-staffed and aligned with program goals
  • Serve as a primary liaison between Conejo Free Clinic and community partners, including nonprofits, schools and school districts, faith-based organizations, local agencies, and community groups
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner organizations
  • Identify opportunities for deeper collaboration and expanded community impact
  • Identify strategic partnership opportunities to better serve underserved communities
  • Ensure consistent communication and follow-up with community partners
  • Track outreach activities, partnerships, and engagement outcomes
  • Provide regular updates to clinic leadership
  • Support the planning and coordination of outreach initiatives

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse groups
  • Self-starter with strong follow-through and attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency in Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, Calendar, and Drive
  • Passion for healthcare access and serving underserved populations
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • 15–20 hours per week

Preferred

  • Experience in community engagement, outreach coordination, or partnership development is a plus, but not required
