Job Description
Responsibilities
- Real conversations in people's buildings. You explain how Groupr works, answer questions, and walk someone through an order on their phone.
- We will ask you to hit sign-up goals, and we will tell you what those goals are before you start.
- The closest thing to this job is campaign canvassing.
Requirements
- A smartphone you can use during your shift.
- Comfortable starting a conversation with someone you have never met.
- Willing to sign a photo and video release. We are filming this program.
Preferred
- You know Castle Hill, Soundview or the Bronx River area.
- Enough Spanish to hold a conversation at a door. You do not have to be perfect.
- A driver's license and access to a car. Both earn more and both are required for our permanent driver positions.
- Previous canvassing, community organizing or door-to-door experience.
