Communications Task Lead - Onsite, Washington, DC

Responsibilities

• Lead communications strategy, audience planning, messaging, channel planning, and editorial quality for a federal client.
• Oversee internal and external communications, campaigns, and stakeholder engagement.
• Advise client leadership on communications timing and delivery.
• Coordinate writers and creative staff and manage client review workflows for communications products.
• Assess audience feedback and engagement to inform communications efforts.

Requirements

• U. S. citizen
• Experience in communications strategy, executive messaging, and editorial judgment
• Experience managing internal and external communications channels, campaigns, and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to manage client review workflows, coordinate writers and creative staff, oversee editorial quality and channel planning, and assess audience feedback and engagement

Preferred

• Relevant bachelor's degree or permitted equivalent
• 8 or more years in communications, including at least 3 years leading teams or workstreams
