Job Description

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Communications & Marketing Coordinator to support our growing marketing efforts at Open the Bible. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to grow in marketing and communications—from planning and coordination to hands-on execution and visual content support, while contributing to work that helps people come to know and grow in God’s Word

The Communications & Marketing Coordinator is key in supporting the marketing team, helping bring campaigns, events, and communications to life. This role ensures projects are organized, aligned, and moving forward by coordinating timelines, managing details, and communicating across the team. This individual also serves as a flexible, hands-on contributor—supporting content creation, brand-aligned design, and day-to-day marketing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign & Project Coordination

  • Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns from concept through completion
  • Manage timelines, task lists, and deliverables to ensure projects stay on track
  • Monitor progress, identify roadblocks, and help implement solutions
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to keep projects moving
  • Communicate with team members to maintain alignment and momentum

Event Coordination

  • Coordinate logistics, schedules, and materials for events
  • Serve as a point of contact and ensure details are executed effectively
  • Track tasks and follow up to ensure timely completion

Brand-Aligned Design, template

  • Create presentations, agendas, and internal documents that are clear and visually consistent
  • Develop brand-aligned materials, including simple graphics and occasional small print pieces (postcards, bookmarks, etc.)
  • Build and maintain templates to support consistency across communications
  • Organize and manage shared marketing assets and resources

Cross-Functional Marketing Support

  • Contribute across marketing efforts, stepping in where needed to support execution
  • Assist with content preparation, campaign setup, and basic reporting
  • Support digital, print, and event-based initiatives as needed

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Adobe, Outlook, AI, Slack, Canva (or similar platforms)
  • Good familiarity with marketing terms and principles
  • Ability to adapt, take initiative, and contribute across a variety of projects
  • An eye for clean, consistent design and attention to brand detail
  • Willingness to adapt and grow with the needs of the position and the organization
  • Desire to work well on a team to accomplish marketing goals
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment
  • Full alignment with Open the Bible’s mission and Statement of Faith
