Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Produce photo and video content for social media, websites, digital campaigns, and print materials.
  • Support the day-to-day social media presence across multiple platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and collecting analytics.
  • Assists with maintaining and updating the website content to ensure accuracy and freshness.
  • In collaboration with the communications and marketing manager, writes and designs digital and print communications materials (e.g., fliers, advertisements, two-pagers, etc.).
  • Supports the Catholic Charities DC brand by creating a positive experience for digital users and while helping cover events.
  • Maintains brand consistency and visual identity across all materials.
  • Manages time and meets project deadlines.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, content creation, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in communications, marketing, or content creation.
  • Skills in website publishing, preferably WordPress.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
  • Skills in customer service skills. Ability to work as part of a team.
