Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Communications and Marketing internship offers hands-on experience in strategic communications, social media content creation, audience development, and community-focused marketing within a museum setting.
  • Working closely with departmental staff, the intern will help gather and create content for Morgan’s social media platforms.
  • assist in the creation of exhibition-specific communications plans, including identifying target audiences and appropriate channels;
  • and conduct research into community outreach opportunities, helping identify local partners, organizations, and audiences to support broader engagement goals, among other tasks.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student
  • Strong interest in a career in the museum or research library fields
  • Eligibility to work in the United States; international candidates must be eligible to participate in a paid internship program in the United States
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
