Job Summary

Own the Office of Student Life's marketing content strategy, producing multi‑channel copy, supporting email/newsletter programs, and collaborating with the team to align copy and visuals with IU branding.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Produces high-quality content for various platforms, supporting Student Life's marketing and communications while aligning with Indiana University’s branding.
  • Helps to develop and implement email newsletter content plans. Tracks stories and topics, writes blurbs, and sets up and sends emails using SalesForce/Marketing Cloud.
  • Collaborates with other team members, both full-time and part-time, to strategize marketing solutions that effectively blend copy and visuals together based on the audience and medium. Attends recurring and ad hoc meetings with colleagues, clients, and coworkers to develop marketing and communications solutions.
  • Utilizes web and writing skills to build, maintain, and update websites within the Office of Student Life. Keeps in contact with departmental colleagues to ensure pages are updated with current and accurate information. Ensures pages are accessible, event-driven, dynamic, and utilize responsive design principles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, public relations, or related field.
  • 2 years in relevant field.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism.
