Job Description

Drive LRWRA’s social media presence as a junior communications role focused on content creation and audience engagement.

  • Develop engaging content for LRWRA’s social media platforms.
  • Schedule content, engage with our audience, and monitor social media performance.
  • Create visual content using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and PosterMyWall.
  • Takes high-quality photos and videos of LRWRA activities.
  • Assists in community outreach and related communication.
  • Supports and documents public education programs.
  • Follows established work procedures and practices.
  • Perform any other related duties as required.
  • Experience managing social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X).
  • Must be a Junior, Senior, or recent graduate with a major in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related discipline.
  • Knowledge of graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), Canva, and PosterMyWall.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Words, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Knowledge of basic photography and videography.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to work well in both team settings and independently.
  • Creative and analytical thinking skills.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Meet and maintain attendance requirements.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and content scheduling platforms (Buffer, Hootsuite, Facebook Ad Manager, etc.).
  • Customer service skills.
