Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Maintain ACF and ABEC social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) by interacting with followers, building our following, and deepening storytelling.
  • Assist content requests for social media, events, email campaigns, and more, including but not limited to creating and/or distributing one-pagers, infographics, and event materials.
  • Assist in the creation of recap and short-form videos of organizations’ signature events.
  • Assist with the launch, maintenance, and update needs for ACF and ABEC’s websites, such as writing copy and updating photos.
  • Monitor core performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth) for staff, advisory committees, and other audiences as needed.
  • Occasionally draft original content for social media and email campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager to identify more opportunities for storytelling in print and digital formats.
  • Event support as needed, including ACF’s 2026 Gala, #ShopAAPI Holiday, and other signature events.
  • Individuals assigned to this position may perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school completion, or equivalent experience; and
  • Experience in marketing or communications, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Experience working with Canva required;
  • Experience with social media platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics dashboards required;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with a project management system (e.g., Monday.com) is a plus
  • Familiarity with website builders (e.g. Wix or Squarespace) is a plus
  • Interest in learning about and working with the Massachusetts AAPI community, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to interact well with a diverse range of people.
