Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create, schedule, and manage social media content across multiple platforms.
  • Coordinate media opportunities for executives such as webinars, podcasts, speaking engagements, press conferences, and interviews.
  • Research and write articles, blog posts, press releases, newsletters, and other editorial content.
  • Produce written, graphic, and video content for company websites, grant proposals, and fundraising campaigns.
  • Plan, organize, and host events, including promotional and community engagement activities such as concerts and overnight retreats.
  • Follow the company style guide to ensure all communications are consistent, high-quality, and error-free.
  • Conduct regular quality reviews of internal and external communications, branding, and operational protocols.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, journalists, and media outlets, while identifying opportunities for media exposure.
  • Support and facilitate diversity, inclusion, and community service initiatives both internally and externally.
  • Develop and implement SEO optimization strategies to improve the company’s search engine rankings.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be comfortable commuting to our location in San Gregorio, CA, a minimum of 3 days a week.
  • Flexible schedule; occasional weekends required

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, videography, film, or a related field (not required)
  • Demonstrated videography experience including knowledge of post-production techniques
  • Social media strategy and algorithms
