Job Description

General Summary
Responsible for various communication projects and processes with high attention to detail, timeliness, and confidentiality.
Principal Job Functions
  • *Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.
  • *Coordinates the development of collateral, including basic layout work on routine materials for annual employee engagement events.
  • *Writes copy for employee communication including, but not limited to, employee announcements, recognition, news, and events.
  • *Works with internal stakeholders to maintain, update and disseminate marketing and communication collateral.
  • *Builds and designs internal emails.
  • *Captures and edits simple, informal videos for internal audiences.
  • *Collects and inputs data for reporting and dashboards.
  • *Assists executives and department leaders with production and distribution of highly confidential materials.
  • *Serves as a primary point of contact for visitors and callers.
  • *Serves as key contact for a project management platform for users across the system.
  • *Screens department inquiries/project requests and forwards to appropriate team members.
  • Assists in the development of wayfinding and signage needs.
  • Serves as a liaison between Communications and Printing Services.
  • Works to ensure consistency of brand and writing standards.
  • Assists with department events.
  • Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in the field of expertise.
  • Participates in meetings, committees, and department projects as assigned.
  • Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

Education And Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates or bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, marketing, graphic design preferred. Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a comparable role within a large corporate environment preferred.
