Job Summary

Own the college 0marketing content engine by turning strategy into published campaigns, events coverage, and performance reporting that expands reach and engagement.

  • Content creation and editing: produce, polish, and publish short- and long-form college content in partnership with the Dean and Directors.
  • Campaign execution and media coordination: develop and launch campaigns, manage media relationships, and publish updates across channels including Shorts, Reels, and Substack.
  • Measurement and reporting: gather data, compile weekly/monthly performance insights, and adjust tactics to maximize reach and exposure.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • To work with the Dean and Directors of Spurgeon College to develop, execute, and monitor the digital marketing strategies and portfolio of Spurgeon College.
  • Act as the in-office primary creator, editor, and proofreader of college marketing content in coordination with the Dean and Directors.
  • Prepare, publish, and promote prompt college updates via short-form media and occasional long-form content.
  • Attend weekly Director meetings to determine cohort marketing objectives
  • Attend key campus events for real-time content creation and publication
  • Assist with developing and writing advertising, promotional, and video portfolio compilations to further digital omnipresence
  • Coordinate the regular posting of Shorts and Reels to accomplish seasonal marketing aims
  • Assist with launch of, editing, scheduling, and posting of Substack content for the Dean
  • Collaborate with the Directors in creating new campaigns, marketing strategies, and promotional endeavors
  • Manage relationships with media accounts in conjunction with Communications, Cabinet and other Administrative Offices
