About the role

Market Connect is a boutique, fully remote marketing agency serving enterprise CPG food industry clients. Our work spans creative development, sourcing and procurement, and logistics.

As Client Project Manager, you own the full project flow from start to finish. You receive project requests, translate them into clear briefs for our internal team, assign and manage the work, keep clients updated throughout, and see everything through to delivery. At any given time that means keeping tabs on a range of active projects across different work streams, making sure our designer and sourcing specialist have what they need, and keeping clients informed along the way.

You'll be the main point of contact for clients at the project level. Our founder handles the broader client relationship and stays involved on complex work, but day-to-day project communication, coordination, and delivery runs through you.

The role requires someone who is extremely organized, comfortable working independently, and great at creative problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming project requests and translate them into clear, actionable briefs for the internal team
• Assign work to our graphic designer and sourcing specialist and manage execution from brief to delivery
• Track all active projects simultaneously (timelines, status, blockers, and next steps)
• Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact, providing proactive updates and managing expectations throughout each project
• Coordinate between creative and sourcing to ensure all work streams are aligned and delivering a cohesive product
• Review deliverables internally before escalating to senior sign-off
• Review project pricing and identify opportunities to improve margin
• Own small client relationships end-to-end
• Identify and resolve operational problems independently before they escalate
• Fill execution gaps where needed to keep projects on track

What we're looking for

• 3–6 years of experience in a marketing agency or CPG brand environment
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Experience owning client relationships and project communication directly
• Strong problem-solving instincts
• Able to build and manage systems and processes
• Commercially aware (understanding project profitability, not just delivery)
• Clear, confident written and verbal communicator
• Proficient with modern project management and collaboration tools
• CPG or food industry background is a plus
