We’re looking for an experienced, polished and highly motivated Client Growth Specialist to help drive growth by building strong relationships, identifying opportunities and creating new business conversations.
This is a role for someone who is naturally outgoing, confident in professional settings and comfortable representing the company in person. The ideal candidate brings strong emotional intelligence, a genuine interest in people and the resilience needed to thrive in a sales environment. They know how to listen well, ask thoughtful questions and think ahead about client needs and business challenges.
This role includes regular in-state and regional travel for client meetings, events, networking opportunities and relationship-building activities.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Outreach

• Research target accounts, industries and decision-makers.
• Conduct outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn and in-person networking to generate qualified opportunities.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects and conversations.
• Tailor messaging to each audience with professionalism and credibility.
  

Relationship Building

• Represent the company at client meetings, networking events, conferences and other business development opportunities.
• Develop trust and rapport quickly with prospective clients and partners.
• Listen carefully to understand business challenges and identify opportunities to add value.
• Ask the right questions to uncover needs, priorities and fit.
  

Sales Development & Qualification

• Qualify opportunities based on business need, timing and fit.
• Collaborate with internal sales leadership to advance qualified prospects through the pipeline.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and follow-up activity.
• Support the transition from first conversation to meaningful sales opportunity.
  

Travel & Market Presence

• Travel regularly within the state and region to support client meetings, prospecting and local market engagement.
• Attend industry events, conferences and networking opportunities as needed.
• Serve as a visible and credible face of the organization in the market.
  

Performance & Accountability

• Meet or exceed outreach, meeting and pipeline goals.
• Maintain strong follow-through and persistence through long sales cycles and rejection.
• Use feedback and results to continually refine approach.
• Contribute to a high-performing sales culture.

• Experience in tech, IT or professional services sales.
• Existing network or familiarity with the local/regional market.
• Experience with CRM systems and prospecting tools.
• Track record of success in outbound prospecting, relationship building or pipeline generation.
