Responsibilities

  • This is a part-time hybrid role for a Chinese Social Media Video Editor Intern based in New York, NY.
  • The intern will be responsible for producing, editing, and color grading video content tailored for social media platforms, as well as creating motion graphics.
  • Some tasks may be performed remotely, while others will require on-site collaboration.
  • The ideal candidate will contribute to the brand's visual and storytelling initiatives tailored for Chinese-speaking audiences.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in video production and video editing
  • Experience in video color grading for professional and visually striking outputs
  • Knowledge of motion graphics and ability to create engaging animations
  • Competence in creating and working with graphics for video content
  • Fluency in Mandarin and understanding of the cultural nuances of Chinese social media platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual aesthetics
  • Pursuing or possessing a degree in film, media, communications, or a related field
  • Familiarity with social media trends and platforms, especially WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, and Xiaohongshu
