Growth Strategy: Own cross-functional growth priorities, segment sequencing, and market creation vs capture.
Team & Pipeline: Build the sales/marketing org, enablement, and disciplined forecast with transparent pipeline.
Fundraising & Governance: Lead diversified funding and board-facing storytelling tied to revenue and outcomes.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Growth Strategy & Engagement Leadership: Own the integrated growth strategy across sales, marketing, and communications; define customer segments, channels, and partnerships to drive market creation and broad adoption, with sequencing of investments.
Fundraising Management: Lead fundraising strategy with the CEO; manage a diversified funding pipeline, cultivate funders, craft cases for support, and build systems to sustain fundraising alongside growing earned revenue.
Team Development, Enablement & Pipeline Management: Lead and grow the sales and marketing/communications function; design onboarding and enablement; own forecast and optimize the sales process for a disciplined, transparent, predictable pipeline.
Board-Ready Communication & Cross-Functional Leadership: Produce concise narrative materials linking fundraising, revenue, market signals, and product; align Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success around feedback loops and roadmaps; serve as CredLens ambassador.
What Success Looks Like in Year One - Growth Strategy: Data-informed growth plan with prioritized segments, channels, and partnerships; target $2M revenue in Year 1 and step toward $9M in Year 2.
What Success Looks Like in Year One - Fundraising: Diversified funding pipeline; strengthened funder relationships; scalable systems for sustaining fundraising with growing revenue.
