Job Summary

Own end-to-end public health campaigns for diverse audiences with heavy budget and stakeholder management, driving multi-channel impact from research to media placement.

  • Lead multi-channel campaigns, audience segmentation, and performance optimization using data insights.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, partners, and timelines to deliver large programs with public trust clearance.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with health organizations, media outlets, and influencers to align goals and messaging.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop complex advertising campaigns including, but not limited to, overseeing formative research activities, developing and implementing communication and marketing plans, producing a variety of communications products for different audiences, strategically engaging partners, coordinating the placement of paid and donated media, providing technical assistance support, and conducting digital and social media activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define goals, key messages, and target audiences.
  • Conduct market research and audience segmentation to inform campaign development.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and workflows to ensure projects stay on track.
  • Analyze campaign metrics, generate reports, and optimize based on data insights.
  • Build and maintain relationships with public health organizations, media outlets, community groups, and influencers.
  • Serve as a point of contact for partners and ensure alignment across campaign goals.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Bachelor’s degree or above from an accredited college or university
  • 10+ years of campaign management experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing large (> $10-50MM Annually) programs

Preferred

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certifications
  • Master’s degree in communications, public health, social sciences, or associated disciplines is a plus
  • Experience with HHS and/or CDC programs
  • Experience with health promotion campaigns
  • Prior award-winning campaign experience a plus
  • Experience with chronic disease marketing and communications
  • Proficiency with project management tools, such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar systems, as well as SharePoint
