Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Set the multi-year global strategy for the portfolio, including positioning, audience, brand architecture, and growth ambition
  • Be the internal authority on the collector: collecting behavior, community sentiment, secondary-market dynamics, and fandom health
  • Own the global line: product mix, price points, SKU optimization, innovation pipeline, and phase-outs
  • Partner with Product Development and Packaging to create toys and collectibles that genuinely resonate
  • Lead license selection and integrate inbound licenses into the line
  • Own the global P&L, forecast, gross margin, and pricing architecture, consolidating regional inputs into one global number
  • Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing Brand team
  • Partner side by side with the Marketing Director as co-owners of portfolio growth
  • Represent the portfolio to senior leadership in line reviews and strategic planning

Requirements

  • 8+ years in brand management or strategic planning within toys or collectibles
  • 3+ years leading and developing teams, with a track record of building and retaining talent
  • Experience managing large, global brands across multiple regions and retail channels
  • Hands-on product development and line planning experience, bringing physical product to market
  • Brand P&L, forecasting, and pricing architecture ownership
  • Real understanding of boys' action, collector, or fandom-driven categories
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)

  • Brands serving both kids and adult collectors, and knowing how those audiences differ
  • Using entertainment and content (series, shorts, gaming, digital) as brand-building engines
  • Circana/NPD and syndicated data fluency
  • Licensing experience
  • International market exposure
  • Taking a brand from zero to launch, not just growing an established one
