Job Summary
This position functions as a part of the Child Psychiatry Access Network (CPAN) and Perinatal Psychiatry Access Network (PeriPAN) program. The Behavioral Health Resource Liaison will work on a multidisciplinary team and communicate with internal and external stakeholders such as pediatricians, primary care providers, psychiatrists, obstetricians, nurses, referral coordinators and community groups that serve pregnant and postpartum women (up to one year post-delivery or pregnancy loss) and their immediate families. This position is expected to answer phones and texts, responding to requests for consultation and referral assistance. In addition to providing consultation and referral resources to enrolled providers and community groups, this position will assist with maintenance of the referral database, program development, marketing of the programs, and provision of training to providers and community agencies/groups on program utilization and behavioral health.

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. This position has the option to elect the Optional Retirement Program (ORP) instead of TRS, subject to the position being 40 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code Section 51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal history record information. Applicants selected must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States by time of hire.

Clinical Position Requirements
Clinical positions require pre-screening through our Occupational Health department, including a drug test. Employees are required to obtain annual influenza vaccines.
