Your Role as Assistant Manager
Leadership & Operations
- Serve as the right hand to the General Manager
- Lead Swim Associates and foster a culture of excellence
- Oversee daily operations, including cleanliness, safety, and water quality
- Ensure staff meet Big Blue’s standards in teaching, safety, and service
- Manage scheduling, staff training, and performance feedback
Customer Experience
- Communicate with families to share swim progress and address concerns
- Monitor student development and recommend level advancements
- Create a welcoming, fun, and safe space for kids and parents
Sales & Growth
- Support membership growth through exceptional service
- Help implement local marketing and lead generation strategies
- Promote customer retention and ensure front desk processes run smoothly
What We’re Looking For
✔️ 2+ years managing a team of hourly staff (required)
✔️ Strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills
✔️ Sales experience in a fast-paced environment
✔️ Passion for working with children and helping them succeed
✔️ Able to move throughout the facility and lift up to 30 lbs
✔️ Willingness to jump in the pool and get certified (we’ll train you!)
✔️ Evenings and weekends availability
