  • Partner with program managers and IT/vendors to improve outreach, enrollment, and engagement

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation, maintenance, and improvement of Salesforce-based marketing and communications workflows under the guidance of Associate Director of Digital Education.
  • Help manage audience lists, learner segments, campaign data, and communications preferences.
  • Assist with email campaign setup, testing, quality assurance, and performance tracking.
  • Support communications connected to recruitment, application reminders, enrollment steps, course access, completion, credentials, newsletters, and future program engagement.
  • Partner with program managers and communications colleagues to ensure learner-facing messages are accurate, timely, and well-organized.
  • Maintain clean and reliable marketing data, including contact records, program interests, campaign membership, communication status, and engagement history.
  • Help identify opportunities to use Salesforce data to improve learner outreach, follow-up, and engagement; scaling up operations is a success metric under the direction of Associate Director of Digital Education.
  • Support reporting on marketing and recruitment activity, including inquiries, applications, enrollments, campaign performance, and learner engagement trends.
  • Assist with routine Salesforce administration, including user support, permissions, data updates, page layouts, fields, reports, dashboards, and basic configuration.
  • Respond to user questions and troubleshoot issues from internal staff and program partners.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data, lists, records, reports, and communications workflows. Strong written communication skills, including the ability to create clear documentation, user guides, and process notes.
  • Interest in Salesforce administration, CRM systems, marketing technology, and learner engagement. Ability to troubleshoot user issues, ask good questions, document problems clearly, and follow through on solutions. Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, processes, and Salesforce features.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and creatively with technical and non-technical colleagues. Ability to support reports and dashboards that help program teams understand inquiries, applications, enrollments, communications, and learner engagement.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple small tasks, tickets, requests, and deadlines. Comfort supporting users through email, Zoom, phone, or in-person conversations.
  • Commitment to improving the experience of prospective learners, current learners, staff users, and program partners.
  • Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and three years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred

  • Experience using Salesforce, Salesforce Education Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Account Engagement/Pardot, Marketing Cloud Growth, or another CRM or marketing automation platform.
  • Familiarity with email marketing, audience segmentation, campaign tracking, or marketing analytics. Experience creating reports, dashboards, or data summaries for internal stakeholders.
  • Interest in higher education, online learning, lifelong learning, professional education, or learner engagement. Familiarity with systems that support enrollment, applications, events, communications, customer service, or student/learner records.
  • Basic understanding of data quality, privacy, permissions, and responsible use of learner/contact information.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification or interest in pursuing Salesforce certification.
