Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Social Media & Content Coordination: Support the daily planning, creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms. Ensure every post is timely, accurate, engaging, and aligned with the ANIME Impulse brand voice.
  • Content Calendar Co-Management: Maintain and organize the social content calendar. Help schedule and sequence announcements, ticket sales campaigns, guest/talent reveals, programming updates, sponsor obligations, and vendor spotlights under tight event deadlines.
  • Platform & Trend Strategy: Adapt creative assets natively for each social platform. Monitor internet trends, anime/gaming fandom conversations, and viral formats, identifying strategic opportunities for ANIME Impulse to join the conversation authentically.
  • Content Development & Copywriting: Write catchy, brand-accurate captions and brainstorm scroll-stopping creative concepts. Transform event milestones into engaging social posts, graphics, and short-form video concepts that drive clicks and ticket sales.
  • Analytics & Optimization: Track weekly performance metrics including reach, impressions, engagement rates, video views, and follower growth. Assist in compiling performance reports to highlight top-performing content and optimize future campaigns.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Collaborate with our programming, creative/design, and event operations teams to gather assets, verify details, and ensure consistent messaging across every public touchpoint.
  • Quality & Accuracy Control: Maintain strict attention to detail regarding guest/talent names, Japanese titles, event dates, tagging handles, sponsor requirements, and landing page links.

Requirements

  • Fandom Savvy: Deeply familiar with anime, gaming, conventions, Asian pop culture, and internet fandom communities. You know what fans care about and how they communicate online.
  • A Creative Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a sharp eye for what makes online audiences stop, like, and share.
  • Adaptable & Eager to Learn: Proactive, open to feedback, and comfortable pitching fresh ideas while learning professional workflows.

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with design or editing tools: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere), CapCut, or Figma.
  • Familiarity with publishing and analytics tools: Meta Business Suite, TikTok Creator Center, or YouTube Studio.
  • Prior experience attending or working at fan conventions, esports events, or pop-culture expos.
