Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the Day-to-Day Client Business
• Build strong, trusted relationships with senior and executive-level clients and become a go-to partner for day-to-day needs.
• Understand our clients’ businesses, categories, customers, competitors and business objectives – not just their marketing assignments.
• Lead client meetings, status calls and ongoing communications with confidence and professionalism.
• Keep work moving by anticipating issues, removing roadblocks and ensuring commitments are met.
• Bring solutions (not problems) to clients and internal teams.
• Drive the bus – take increasing ownership of client relationships and decision-making as your capabilities grow.
• Contribute Strategically
• Develop a strong understanding of client business challenges and identify opportunities where marketing can drive growth.
• Contribute to marketing plan development, briefs, creative development and integrated campaign recommendations.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of account management experience , ideally within an integrated advertising or marketing agency.
• Strong grounding in the fundamentals of account management, including client communication, project leadership, budgets, timelines and cross-functional coordination.
• Strategic orientation and genuine curiosity about clients’ businesses.
• A growth mindset – you naturally look for opportunities rather than simply managing what’s already in front of you.
• Passion for great creative and marketing work.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• High level of personal ownership, initiative and follow-through.
• Ability to build relationships and earn trust with both clients and colleagues.
• Comfort working across multiple disciplines and managing competing priorities.
• Ambition to grow into a senior client leader.
