Job Summary

Own end-to-end media planning and buying for client engagements, turning data-driven recommendations into measurable outcomes while deepening client partnerships and expanding opportunities.

  • Media Strategy & Buying: Plan, propose, and optimize campaigns with clear cost breakdowns and timing to drive sustained performance.
  • Client Advisory & Relationships: Maintain trusted advisor status, gather feedback, align with goals, and communicate progress across stakeholders.
  • Delivery & Growth: Lead cross-team execution, monitor budgets, ensure on-time delivery, and identify upsell opportunities to grow revenue.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan and buy relevant media and present media proposals, including timings and cost breakdown. Use analysis to drive decisions in a way that yields sustained, measurable results.
  • Maintain strong relationships with assigned clients. Proactively communicate to provide project updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns. Understand their goals, objectives, and challenges, and serve as a trusted advisor.
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of client projects. Collaborate with internal teams to develop project timelines, deliverables, and ensure on-time and within-budget completion.
  • Monitor project budgets and ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints. Provide clients with accurate budget updates.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling additional services or expanding existing projects to drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of your clients’ industry/segment, audience profiles, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with creative, media, and technology teams to ensure all aspects of client projects are executed effectively and seamlessly.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members. Lead by example, sharing industry knowledge and best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a similar media buying / planning role.
  • Strong digital media experience particularly display, content marketing and social media.
  • Proven ability to create outstanding media strategies.
  • The skills to handle multiple accounts and projects, ensuring client retention.
  • Experience of liaising with and presenting recommendations to clients; excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to recognize good media opportunities and the ability to develop new ideas/concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite, specifically Excel.

  • An interest and passion in analyzing your campaigns and pushing for the best outcome.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and good interpersonal skills: Persuasive and diplomatic.
  • Demonstrable ability to make sensible, intelligent decisions in difficult and deadline driven situations.
