Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of low- to mid-frequency digital fundraising clients and collaborate with senior leadership on day-to-day operations of high frequency clients
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to build strategic, data-informed email and SMS calendars at the start of each month—and adjust as needed based on performance and priorities.
  • Manage content approvals and ensure client feedback is integrated and deadlines are met.
  • Delegate tasks to Associates, Strategists, and Fellows, while providing mentorship and guidance on writing and strategic best practices.
  • Ensure accuracy in ad and SMS spend tracking, and flag concerns to senior leadership when needed.
  • Write and load emails when needed to support team capacity and maintain momentum on client programs.
  • Review and approve content for managed clients, providing edits and feedback to elevate quality and performance.
  • Proof and approve regular client reports, ensuring key insights are highlighted and actionable takeaways are communicated clearly.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in a digital, communications, fundraising, or campaign role—ideally in a political or advocacy setting.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and client deliverables simultaneously, with excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills—especially for digital fundraising.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as NGP, ActionNetwork, ActBlue, Switchboard, Numero, and ActionKit.
  • Experience building and managing digital content calendars across email and SMS.
  • Ability to provide actionable, kind feedback to junior team members and help guide their professional growth.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to balance immediate needs with long-term program goals.
  • A strong sense of urgency and ability to respond quickly to breaking news moments.
