ABOUT THE ROLE

Transcends is seeking a skilled and experienced account director based in North America. You will secure net new and manage retainer business with B2B tech companies within the hyperscaler ecosystems. This role is an opportunity to significantly impact Transcends’ growth. You will earn a base salary, in addition to uncapped commission.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and grow a portfolio of technology clients (existing and new business)
• Build and nurture strong client relationships, becoming a trusted strategic partner
• Drive prospects through the sales process to close deals and meet sales targets 
• Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned with client goals and channel priorities
• Maintain visibility into ongoing projects to ensure client satisfaction and retention
• Collaborate with internal teams and independently manage priorities to deliver high-performing marketing campaigns
• Use CRM and internal tools to manage pipelines, create estimations and proposals
• Proficient in creating proposals and writing contracts (SOWs, NDAs)
• Lead seamless handoffs from pre-sales to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Participate in client meetings and internal strategy sessions, offering insights and solutions

ABOUT YOU

• Based in North America
• Proven track record in sales and account management, with at least $2M in annual target attainment
• 7+ years of experience in a tech-focused environment; experience in the AWS, GCP or Microsoft ecosystem is a plus
• Strong network within the tech community
• Strong understanding of selling process and tactics
• Deep understanding of go-to-market strategies and digital marketing trends
• Passion for innovation, including the role of AI in marketing strategy
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365; experience with Scoro is a bonus
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing, or technology
• Familiarity with Microsoft or AWS co-sell and marketplace dynamics is advantageous
