Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end fundraising strategy and execution for a large, complex direct mail program—guiding campaigns from initial concept through production, analysis, and optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with writers, designers, analysts, and program managers to develop compelling, high-performing campaigns across channels.
  • As an Account Director, you’ll lead the strategy and execution of integrated fundraising programs across direct mail, digital, and other channels.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to your clients by monitoring performance, managing budgets, and recommending thoughtful adjustments to maximize results.
  • Mentor and support your team, contribute to business development efforts, and help ensure that our work consistently meets the highest standards of quality and impact.

Requirements

  • We’re looking for someone with at least five (5) years of direct response fundraising experience, ideally within a nonprofit or agency environment.
  • The most qualified candidates will also have:
  • - Proven experience leading a large, complex direct mail program.
  • - Strong client management skills and the ability to build trusted, long-term relationships
  • - Experience managing budgets, timelines, and campaign performance
  • - Demonstrated ability to lead projects and guide cross-functional teams
  • - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to clients
  • - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • - Experience mentoring or managing team members
  • - A strategic mindset with the ability to balance big-picture thinking and executional detail
  • - Comfort navigating change and helping teams adapt and grow
