Job Description

As an Account Director at Crispin, you own the relationship with clients and keep things running smoothly with your internal crew. Leading the team in the day-to-day hustle of managing the client’s business? Yep, that’s all you.

Responsibilities:

  • Build trusted relationships with senior C-Suite (or equivalent) clients to guide the business and the overall client/agency working relationship.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen the agency’s role in the client’s business.
  • Partner with discipline leads to ensure the right resources are engaged at the right moments.
  • Create client scopes of work and fee recommendations. Manage the account financials.
  • Serve as active and centralized leader of strategic development and momentum, building inclusive teams to include Creative, Strategy, Social, Media, and Production leadership.
  • Monitor scope, identify and manage scope creep and opportunities for expansion.
  • Communicate agency POV clearly and confidently.
  • Understand the Crispin agency initiatives and how they relate to client business (i.e. Analytics, PR, Media, etc.).
  • Understand and teach mechanics of the creative process and how to get to the best work.
  • Master the communication skills to deliver tough feedback to clients or argue a point of view that supports the strategy and creative POV.
  • Get in there deep - have the skill set and know how to drive and influence the Clients' business.
  • Take an active role in culture and building the Account Department, managing 1-2 direct reports.
  • Manage/teach/mentor your team, identifying opportunities for growth and overall support. Their success is your success.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in our Downtown office.
  • 10+ years of agency experience.
  • Experience leading strategic and creative conversations independently.
  • Proven ability to influence client decisions.
  • Ability to guide feedback to protect the work while addressing the client’s underlying business need.
  • Experience playing an active role in organic growth, scope expansion and business development.

Base compensation range is $120k - $140k. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
