Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating and overseeing daily activities and staff of department.
- Perform daily department operations including setup, operation and maintenance of department equipment, data entry into computer system, quality checking, stock materials, etc.
- Assist in hiring and controlling staffing including team building and employee coaching.
- Assist in establishing work standards, assigning schedules, reviewing staff work, directing training and interpreting policies, procedures, and goals to subordinates.
- Assist in evaluating, cross-training, and developing staff.
- Assist in recommending and developing new operational and strategic ideas for the department.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/ GED required.
- Three years supervisory experience.
- Three years related departmental and industry experience.
- Moderate to heavy lifting of 25 to 60 lbs.
- Experience in Microsoft Windows environment including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must demonstrate working proficiency of the English language.
