Job Summary

Own and scale the commercial aviation product marketing function, driving lifecycle management, GTM strategy, and sales enablement across product lines with a tight loop to product and engineering.

  • Product Lifecycle & GTM: define audience, monetization, launch tiers, and expansion plays for multiple product lines.
  • Positioning & Messaging: craft differentiated value props for airline executives, operators, dispatchers, flight crews, and IT.
  • Sales Enablement & VOC: build battlecards and enablement assets; feed customer feedback into roadmap.

Job Description

Responsibilities\n- You will lead the Commercial Aviation Product Marketing team organized by pods within the Global Marketing organization. Each pod is aligned to a commercial aviation product line, pairing product marketers, content marketers, and campaign marketers and partnered with the product design, management and sales partners.\n- Product Launch & Lifecycle\n- Own the product lifecycle from birth through expansion, retention, and sunset: audience definitions, monetization/packaging input, launch tier strategy, GTM planning, and expansion plays. Manage the launch control process\n- Partner with Product and Engineering from Day 1, ensuring marketing shapes architecture, narrative, and design from the start\n- Deliver GTM Product Briefing Documents, PR/FAQs, launch tiers, and sales enablement for every major product moment\n- Product Strategy & Positioning\n- Own GTM strategy and positioning for the commercial aviation portfolio: Crew and Fleet Planning, Operations, Flight Planning, and the Flight Deck\n- Develop differentiated value propositions and messaging across buyer segments — airline executives, operators, dispatchers, flight crews, and IT\n- Leverage competitive intelligence to sharpen positioning and identify whitespace opportunities\n- Sales Enablement & Revenue Impact\n- Build sales tools, competitive battlecards, and vertical narratives that help commercial teams win, expand, and renew\n- Partner with Customer Engagement Marketing on expansion and renewals\n- Maintain VOC feedback loops into product roadmap and GTM strategy\n- Team Leadership\n- Lead, coach, and grow a product marketing team. Manage budget, agency relationships, and cross-functional alignment\n- Establish operating cadences, playbooks, and KPIs across the organization\n- Foster a culture that is customer- and AI-obsessed, fast and accountable, focused on expansion over vanity metrics\n\nRequirements\n- 15+ years of product marketing in B2B software, SaaS, data platforms, and aviation; 5+ years in senior leadership managing PMM teams\n- Demonstrated track record owning full-lifecycle GTM\n- Exceptional executive presence and ability to influence VP/C-level partners across Product, Sales, and Executive teams\n- Strong positioning and storytelling skills — translating complex technology into compelling customer narratives\n- Commercial acumen: you think in revenue, pipeline, NRR, and competitive share\n- Deep AI fluency — from market research to content acceleration and personalized sales enablement\n- Aviation industry experience and genuine passion for it.
