Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Join weekly online sessions
  • Participate in orientation and mentorship meetings
  • Attend at least one workshop led by leading figures in the industry and academia
  • Complete supervised social media learning experiments
  • Contribute to measurable audience growth research
  • Complete a brief final report reflecting on key lessons learned

Requirements

  • University students and early career professionals over 18 years of age with a keen interest in news, politics, or technology. Selection will favour individuals who can demonstrate a strong work ethic, intellectual acuity, and ability to operate effectively in an all-remote environment.
  • Individuals passionate about fact-based reporting, legal developments, and combating misinformation
  • Active Reddit and/or X users (or those willing to build a professional preference on either/both platforms)
  • Curious, motivated learners excited to develop hands-on skills in a mission-driven environment
