Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute SEO/AEO strategies that improve organic visibility, rankings, qualified traffic, engagement, and conversions across websites, landing pages, content, and multimodal channels such as YouTube.
  • Optimize content for traditional and answer-driven search through clear structure, direct answers, internal linking, schema, entity clarity, and topical depth.
  • Co-own SEO testing roadmaps, including A/B tests for metadata, headings, FAQs, CTAs, templates, and layouts.
  • Monitor performance in tools like Google Search Console, BrightEdge, and seoClarity, translating insights into prioritized recommendations.
  • Conduct technical audits to improve crawlability, indexability, site speed, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and user-first content quality.
  • Lead organic growth across the Walmart US website, landing page campaigns, and content.
  • The Senior SEO Analyst will serve as one of the team’s SEO and AEO subject matter experts, helping shape content, technical improvements, and testing strategies that drive qualified traffic and conversions.
  • By connecting search insights, experimentation, and performance reporting, this role helps the broader team understand what is driving growth and where to prioritize future optimization efforts.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience, plus 5+ years in SEO with expertise in technical SEO, content optimization, analytics, and organic growth.
  • Must have hands-on experience with A/B testing, SEO experimentation, CMS platforms, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, structured data, and SEO tools such as Google Search Console, BrightEdge, seoClarity, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of crawlability, indexability, site architecture, page speed, mobile usability, AI-influenced search, featured snippets, local SEO, and multilingual SEO is expected.
  • Preferred experience includes Spanish-language optimization and ecommerce, marketplace, logistics, retail, or driver acquisition websites.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related area OR 2 years' experience in business or related area.
