Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Drive Product Adoption and Revenue: Partner with Product, Inventory, and Commercial teams to drive achievement of product and business objectives.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for new and existing products, including defining target audiences, value propositions, messaging, and integrated marketing launch plans.
  • Product Positioning & Messaging: Craft clear, concise, and compelling product positioning and messaging that highlights the unique value of our inventory solutions and differentiates The Trade Desk from competitors.
  • Content Creation: Develop a wide range of marketing materials, including sales enablement tools, presentations, articles, case studies, videos, and more.
  • Sales Enablement: Help equip our sales and client services teams with the knowledge and resources they need to sell the value of our product offerings.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive threats.
  • Product Feedback & Roadmaps: Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams to gather feedback, prioritize features, and ensure alignment on product roadmap and go-to-market plans.
  • Performance Measurement & Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product adoption and the success of marketing initiatives to identify areas for improvement.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Become a recognized subject matter expert on The Trade Desk's inventory solutions, serving as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • MBA is a plus
  • 7+ years of product marketing experience in the ad tech or digital media industry, with a focus on inventory, supply, or programmatic advertising
  • Strong understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including DSPs, SSPs, exchanges, and publishers
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies that drive measurable results, including new launches and integrated marketing campaigns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear and compelling messaging
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred

  • MBA is a plus
