Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Create and publish thoughtful, visually strong social media content (posts, reels, short-form videos) that presents China to a global audience, working alongside our in-house graphic designer
  • Develop concept and direct content, and collaborate with internal teams, freelancers, and creators to bring stories to life

  • Own channel performance, including tracking key metrics (growth, engagement, conversions), and use insights to refine content strategy, audience targeting, and campaign direction
  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid social campaigns with clear ROI KPIs
Requirements
  • Fluent English (native or near-native level), with working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (HSK 4+) for internal communication, basic research, and content comprehension

  • Experience managing email marketing/newsletter accounts (ex. via Mailchimp or Hubspot)

  • Intermediate video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)
  • Familiarity with design tools (Canva, Adobe suite, or similar)
  • Strong writing skills with attention to tone and detail
