Responsibilities

  • The DISH and Sling Brand Marketing teams are responsible for defining and shaping the future of television. This role is central to supporting both brands by driving brand awareness and cultivating consideration through compelling social media experiences and marketing support. As a Social Media Marketing Lead, you will help manage the day-to-day social presence and assist in the execution of campaign goals to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
  • The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented professional with a passion for the evolving TV landscape. You should be capable of translating brand goals into engaging social content that resonates with diverse audiences while thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Manage day-to-day social media publishing across DISH and Sling channels, including scheduling, posting, and community engagement
  • Create high-quality, platform-native content such as short-form video, graphics, and posts for Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook
  • Develop social content supporting key initiatives including tune-in promotion, talent interviews, sports programming, product launches, and trending moments
  • Collaborate with Content, Design, Product Marketing, and Go-to-Market teams to produce and deploy social campaigns aligned with broader marketing strategies
  • Assist with influencer and creator campaigns, including outreach, vetting, briefing, contract coordination, and ensuring content meets brand standards
  • Track campaign performance and social analytics, supporting reporting, testing, and optimization to improve engagement and marketing impact

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2-4 years experience in social media platforms and influencer marketing
  • Ability to develop and execute content using the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams, including Consumer Insights, Product, and Go-to-Market
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills that promote team partnership and enthusiasm
  • Must be results-oriented with a strong understanding of marketing metrics and performance tracking
  • Ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment with a high capacity to multitask and handle tight deadlines
