Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Influencer Strategy & Campaign Execution: Lead influencer marketing strategy across Uber and Uber Eats campaigns, including creator briefs, talent strategy, platform approach, content formats, paid amplification plans, and measurement frameworks. Ensure influencer work is native to each platform, culturally relevant, brand-safe, and aligned with broader integrated marketing objectives.
  • Creative Management: Work directly with agencies and internal teams to oversee influencer identification, vetting, outreach, contracting, onboarding, content review, approvals, posting logistics, and performance recap processes. Build a roster of creators across tiers, communities, verticals, and platforms who can authentically represent Uber and Uber Eats.
  • Agency Management: Manage influencer agencies to deliver breakthrough creator-led work. Ensure partners are operating against clear briefs, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and performance expectations.
  • Creative Development & Content Excellence: Partner with creators, agencies, and internal teams to develop content that feels native, entertaining, credible, and effective. Push for a high creative bar while balancing authenticity, platform behavior, brand safety, and business priorities.
  • Paid, Organic & Earned: Develop influencer programs that connect paid social, organic social, earned media, and creator-led storytelling. Partner with Media and Global Social teams to determine which influencer assets should be amplified, repurposed, whitelisted, or integrated into broader media plans.
  • Platform & Creator Ecosystem Expertise: Stay at the forefront of creator trends, platform updates, cultural moments, emerging formats, and influencer best practices. Build relationships with key platform partners and creator ecosystem partners to identify first-to-market opportunities, testing plans, and optimization strategies.
  • Measurement, Optimization & Reporting: Work with Data Science, Research & Insights, Media, and agency partners to define and execute an influencer measurement framework. Analyze campaign performance, identify actionable insights, and socialize learnings to improve future programs.
  • Budget & Rights Management: Own and manage influencer campaign budgets, including creator fees, production costs, agency fees, media amplification and usage rights. Partner closely with Marketing Operations, Finance, Legal, and Business Affairs to keep work on budget and compliant.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator marketing, social media marketing, consumer marketing, brand marketing, or related fields at a recognized consumer brand or agency.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or similar, and a demonstrated ability in quantitative fields
  • Deep understanding of how brands should use influencers and platform specific nuances

Preferred

  • Proven track record of delivering breakthrough influencer campaigns that drive brand impact, cultural relevance, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience leading end-to-end influencer marketing programs within large-scale Integrated Marketing Campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of how influencer content can support paid social, organic social, earned media, performance marketing, and brand storytelling.
  • Experience developing creator briefs, talent strategies, content review processes, and campaign playbooks.
  • Strong instinct for culture, social trends, internet behavior, and how brands can credibly participate without compromising brand safety or values.
  • Deep understanding of how paid and organic content and strategies work together
  • Experience in influencer content creation
  • Consumer obsessed, with a drive to understand audience behavior, creator credibility, and how Uber's products meet consumer needs.
  • Strong data and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret influencer performance data and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Experience working directly with and managing external creative and media agencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be comfortable presenting and sharing work with executive leadership.
  • Strong collaboration and the ability to work with a large number of teams across multiple countries, time-zones, backgrounds and functions.
  • Excellent organizational skills to juggle many tasks without losing sight of the highest priority items and a desire to create and build new processes to enable organizational efficiencies.
