Job Summary

Own and optimize an Instagram-focused content and community program for local, independent venues, coordinating calendar planning, caption writing, scheduling, and engagement while collaborating with venues and teams to ensure brand-aligned campaigns and measurable impact.

  • Content & Community Management: plan the calendar, craft captions, schedule posts, and manage Stories/Reels with a focus on engagement and reach.
  • Campaign Collaboration: gather visuals with venues and internal teams to develop campaigns that reflect brand goals and authenticity.
  • Insights & Optimization: monitor metrics, test formats, and report findings to steer ongoing strategy and decisions.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • plan and execute an Instagram content calendar, including concepting, writing captions, scheduling posts, and managing Stories and Reels.
  • collaborate with internal teams and partner venues to gather visuals, develop campaigns, and ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and goals.
  • monitor engagement, respond to comments and direct messages, optimize posts for reach and performance, and track key metrics.
  • test new content formats, stay current with Instagram trends and features, and regularly report on insights to guide strategy.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing, preferably with a strong Instagram portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO), with a focus on Instagram growth, engagement, and analytics.
  • Strong Communication and Writing skills, including clear, concise, and brand-aligned copy for captions, DMs, and community interactions.
  • Experience with Content Strategy for social media, including planning content calendars, aligning posts with campaign objectives, and adapting strategy based on performance data.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar) and basic image/video editing tools for Instagram content.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage deadlines, and prioritize multiple accounts or campaigns.
  • Understanding of or interest in the food and beverage industry and local, independent businesses.

Preferred

  • Relevant education or training in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field is a plus, but equivalent experience is also valued.
