Job Summary

Own the community flywheel by growing active Discord presence, cross posting to Reddit and forums to attract new users, and sharpening retention through events and engagement loops.

  • Discord/community growth: promote on Reddit and forums, nurture active participation, and drive new user signups.
  • Events and activation: host tournaments, game jams, and in-app events to boost engagement and retention.
  • Team collaboration: maintain daily Slack updates and feed learnings back into the community improvements.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Keeping our Discord server active and promoting it on platforms like Reddit or other forum websites to attract new users
  • Hosting events such as tournaments, Game Jams, and other in-app events
  • Maintaining daily communication with the team via Slack
  • Working with the team to improve our community and help us grow our user retention

Requirements

  • plays video games
  • customer service experience
  • knows how to operate Discord well

Preferred

  • Education that supports writing, social media, marketing, or other relevant skills (helpful but not required)
