Job Summary

Own the social engine for a beauty brand in LA, turning short and long form content into community growth and influencer activations with tight calendar, fast feedback loops, and data-driven tweaks.

  • Platform ownership: manage Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat and align with product launches and creator collaborations.
  • Content engine: curate a calendar, capture and publish photo/video, and feed UGC and influencer content into campaigns.
  • Performance focus: track analytics and deliver monthly insights to optimize reach and engagement across strategies.

Job Description

Responsibilities - Own the day-to-day management of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat. - Develop and execute the social content calendar. - Capture, edit, and publish photo and video content. - Create short-form and long-form video, including YouTube Shorts. - Manage community engagement and brand voice. - Execute influencer campaigns alongside the Head of Marketing & Partnerships. - Develop and manage user-generated content (UGC) initiatives. - Track analytics and provide monthly reporting with actionable insights. - Support paid social creative by identifying and producing high-performing content. Requirements - Must be based in the Los Angeles area. - Must be available to work in person for content shoots, meetings, creator collaborations, and events. - Must be willing to travel for events, retail activations, and content shoots. - Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel to Paris and other European destinations several times per year. - 3–5+ years of social media experience, preferably in beauty, skincare, fashion, or lifestyle. - Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat. - Strong copywriting, storytelling, photography, videography, and editing skills. - Experience managing influencer campaigns. - Highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. - Comfortable working in person for shoots and events in LA and while traveling. - Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously. Nice to have - Experience with TYB. - Experience with Superfiliate. - Experience with ShopMy. - Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to enhance creative workflows. - Beauty, skincare, or lifestyle brand experience.
