Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital media strategy aligned with CNSG MIDPAC's organizational objectives, in coordination with Fleet Forces Command
  • Create engaging multimedia content including videos, graphics, articles, and infographics tailored to Navy standards
  • Manage and maintain CNSG MIDPAC's social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram), including real-time audience engagement
  • Execute community engagement tactics such as contests, polls, and live sessions to drive audience participation and retention
  • Conduct regular analysis of social media metrics and audience behavior; produce data-driven performance reports and strategic recommendations
  • Ensure all digital communications adhere to Navy directives, DoD policies, and applicable security protocols
  • Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all digital channels in coordination with internal stakeholders
  • Stay current on emerging digital communication trends and technologies

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) and successfully complete a NACLC/T3 background investigation (IT-II designation)
  • Proven experience in social media management, digital communications, or public affairs — federal or DoD experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to create multimedia content (video, graphics, infographics)
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, particularly Facebook and Instagram
  • Experience with social media analytics and performance reporting
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for diverse audiences
  • Ability to work on-site Monday–Friday, 0800–1600, at JBPHH

Preferred

  • Prior experience supporting Navy, DoD, or federal public affairs communications
  • Familiarity with Navy messaging guidelines and DoD Directive 5105.77
  • Background in digital media strategy or campaign management for a government or military client
