Responsibilities

• Evaluate an existing Squarespace website and identify what is missing or needs improvement
• Develop and implement a practical, prioritized SEO plan
• Improve Google search visibility, rankings, and website traffic
• Position also includes social media growth and detailed administrative support
• Review and analyze the current website and identify areas for improvement
• Develop a practical SEO strategy and prioritized action plan
• Keyword research and keyword strategy
• On-page SEO
• Optimize page titles, metadata, headings, descriptions, and content
• Improve Google search visibility and rankings

Requirements

• Demonstrated SEO experience — not simply general social media experience
• Strong understanding of keyword strategy, on-page SEO, metadata, content optimization, rankings, and traffic growth
• Ability to analyze an existing website and clearly explain what should be improved and why
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to follow directions carefully and follow through
• Comfortable troubleshooting technology
• Strong communication skills
• Social media experience
• Video editing experience
• Google Docs and Google Sheets

Preferred

• Squarespace experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with artists, musicians, or other creative professionals is a plus
