Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive communications strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring strategic consistency across all consumer touchpoints across all channels - digital, traditional, and experiential.
  • Provide senior strategic interpretation of MMM, channel performance, TI trends, and market dynamics.
  • Partner with Business & Growth Strategy & Analytics to align media investment decisions to PAS thresholds, CLV indicators, and growth priorities
  • Lead quarterly performance strategy planning at the enterprise and LOB level, with flexibility to address state-specific or rapid-response needs.
  • Advise on innovation, emerging platforms, and first-market testing opportunities
  • Lead the creation of strategic platforms that inspire media and communications design processes, leveraging cultural and audience insights to shape how a brand will behave and lead within culture.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Client Counsel, Communications Design, and media partnerships, to inspire the creation of culturally led brand experiences.
  • Lead strategy development with a focus on consumer engagement, cultural insights, and actionable recommendations.
  • Identify and drive new cultural opportunities (audiences or spaces) that exceed business goals.
  • Lead collaboration with creative, cultural, and media partners to shape how brands behave within culture and maintain strategic ownership from planning through execution.

Requirements

  • Deep experience developing media and communication strategies that leverage cultural insights and drive significant brand impact – at advertising agencies or marketers.
  • Curiosity around insights and audience data, and the ability to synthesize data and cultural trends into actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Expertise in developing positive client relationships, delivering award-winning strategic work, and elevating the agency’s profile with key clients.
  • Ability to identify and pitch strategic growth opportunities, offering thought leadership on new trends, media habits, and product development opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success leading high-performing, cross-functional teams; proven ability to inspire teams and foster collaboration across departments, agencies, and clients.
  • Experience managing relationships with C-level stakeholders and presenting confidently on a range of strategic topics.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Passion for creative thinking and the ability to produce award-winning, industry-leading and innovative strategic communications.
