Job Summary

Own the strategic engine for client brands, translating research into actionable direction that informs creative briefs, media plans, and go-to-market recommendations across campaigns.

  • Strategy development and storytelling: lead discovery, research, planning, and post-launch analysis to shape campaign direction.
  • Audience, market, and messaging: build insights, competitive and cultural research, and messaging frameworks guiding creative and channel choices.
  • Facilitation and mentorship: run workshops and client presentations, write briefs, partner with Creative/Account/PM teams, and contribute to thought leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy development across multiple client accounts, from discovery and research through campaign planning and post-launch analysis.
  • Develop audience insights, competitive analysis, cultural research, and strategic frameworks that inform creative and media direction.
  • Write clear, inspiring creative briefs that help teams align around a strong strategic direction.
  • Partner closely with Creative, Account, Project Management, and Production teams throughout the full lifecycle of a project.
  • Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and strategic presentations with clients and internal teams.
  • Build brand positioning, messaging frameworks, communication strategies, and go-to-market recommendations.
  • Support integrated campaigns across digital, social, experiential, retail, content, and brand initiatives.
  • Contribute to new business pitches, thought leadership, and agency growth initiatives.
  • Help elevate strategic thinking across the agency through collaboration and mentorship.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Strategy, Brand Planning, Communications Planning, or a related role within a creative, branding, or marketing agency environment.
  • Strong experience developing brand and campaign strategy across different industries and audiences.
  • Ability to transform research, trends, and data into actionable creative direction and compelling narratives.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, discovery sessions, and client conversations.
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing and how strategy translates across channels and touchpoints.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with shifting priorities and multiple projects running simultaneously.
  • Experience with research and insights tools such as GWI, Mintel, Kantar, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Curiosity, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and strong collaboration skills are essential.

Preferred

  • Experience working with consumer brands, Telecom, retail, lifestyle, entertainment, or technology clients.
  • Experience contributing to business development or pitch processes.
  • Familiarity with social listening, trend forecasting, or audience segmentation methodologies.
