Job Summary

Own and shape BlackLine’s go to market for ERP and finance software, turning complex financial operations into executive stories that accelerate pipeline and adoption.

  • Lead SAP ecosystem marketing and events to extend reach and impact.
  • Align Product, Sales, Marketing, CS, and partners to GTM strategy and execution.
  • Deliver customer-centric messaging and sales enablement that translate complex tech into business value.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop differentiated positioning, messaging, and value propositions for BlackLine's market.
  • Translate complex financial operations, ERP, and AI-driven innovations into compelling stories for executives, practitioners, partners, analysts, and customers.
  • Continuously refine market narratives based on customer insights, competitive intelligence, industry trends, and evolving priorities.
  • Lead end-to-end go-to-market planning and execution for new product launches, solution enhancements, campaigns, and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with Product Management, Demand Generation, Sales, Customer Success, Corporate Marketing, and Strategic Alliances to align strategy and execution.
  • Define target audiences, buyer journeys, market opportunities, and growth strategies that accelerate pipeline, adoption, and expansion.
  • Develop deep expertise in assigned solution area, monitor performance and trends, and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Make strategic recommendations influencing product direction, commercialization strategies, and investment priorities.
  • Lead SAP ecosystem marketing, supporting SAP Solution Extension and related growth initiatives.
  • Develop joint value propositions, messaging, enablement materials, and market-facing content for SAP contexts.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product marketing experience in enterprise software, SaaS, ERP, finance, accounting, or adjacent technology markets.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful go-to-market strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts into compelling customer-centric narratives.
  • Experience partnering across Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success influencing without authority and leading cross-functional initiatives in highly matrixed organizations.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, and business acumen.
  • Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, customer interviews, and positioning exercises.
  • Exceptional executive presence and presentation skills.
  • Experience supporting ERP ecosystems, financial software, SAP-related initiatives, or strategic technology partnerships is highly desirable.
