Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Own the day-to-day management, optimization, and performance of paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
  • Build and structure campaigns from the ground up — including account architecture, ad group organization, keyword strategy, match types, bidding models, and budget allocation.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword and audience research to identify high-value targeting opportunities that drive quality traffic and conversions.
  • Monitor and optimize bids, Quality Scores, impression share, and other performance levers on an ongoing basis to maximize efficiency and ROI.
  • Develop and manage negative keyword strategies, audience exclusions, and placement controls to eliminate wasted spend.
  • Continuously test ad copy, creative formats, extensions, and landing page variations to improve CTR, CVR, and overall campaign performance.
  • Manage campaign pacing and budget allocation across accounts, making real-time adjustments to keep spend on track and performance strong.
  • Develop full-funnel campaign strategies that align with client goals — from awareness and consideration through conversion and retention.
  • Recommend the right channel mix, campaign types, and budget distribution based on client objectives, industry benchmarks, and audience behavior.
  • Build and implement audience segmentation strategies leveraging first-party data, remarketing lists, lookalike audiences, and behavioral targeting.
  • Design and execute A/B and multivariate testing frameworks across creative, targeting, landing pages, and bidding strategies to drive sustained improvement.
  • Integrate paid media strategies with organic search, content, and other digital channels to create cohesive, full-funnel approaches.
  • Analyze campaign performance data daily, identifying trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities before they become problems.
  • Build and maintain clear, actionable performance reports and dashboards that translate media data into meaningful business insights.
  • Develop and maintain attribution models to accurately measure the impact of paid media across the customer journey.
  • Present performance findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and, when needed, directly to clients.
  • Partner with creative and design teams to brief, review, and iterate on ad creative that is platform-native and performance-focused.
  • Collaborate with web development and UX teams to ensure landing pages are optimized for conversion and aligned with campaign goals.
  • Stay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, beta features, and industry trends — and proactively bring relevant opportunities to the team.
  • Contribute to internal process improvements, campaign templates, and best practices that elevate the quality and consistency of paid media work across the agency.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing PPC and paid social campaigns, ideally within an agency environment managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Google Ads — including Search, Display, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube campaign types.
  • Strong working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and at least two additional paid social platforms (LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of bidding strategies, audience targeting, match types, Quality Score, ad rank, and campaign structure best practices.
  • Experience managing significant media budgets with a track record of hitting or exceeding performance goals.
  • Strong analytical skills — comfortable working in Google Analytics (GA4), building reports, interpreting data, and making fast, confident optimization decisions.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and clients without letting things slip.
  • Clear, concise communicator who can translate performance data into plain-language insights for internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience owning client relationships, leading strategic planning conversations, or contributing to account growth — we see client-facing skills as a strong differentiator for candidates who have them.
