Job Summary

Drive end-to-end acquisition operations for a startup energy brand, owning campaigns, measurement, and scalable processes.

  • Must-have: 6+ years in marketing with campaign execution and ops ownership in a D2C/startup
  • Standout: AI fluency and cross-functional collaboration across Product, Data, and Creative

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the operational infrastructure for how acquisition campaigns get briefed, planned, executed, and measured across channels, ensuring tight alignment with Program Management and technical stakeholders
  • Develop repeatable frameworks for campaign intake, prioritization, and delivery that make every future launch faster and more predictable
  • Build and maintain the channel launch playbook — how ev.energy tests, launches, and measures new acquisition channels
  • Maintain campaign measurement standards, working closely with the Data team to ensure consistent attribution and performance visibility
  • Coordinate agency, freelancer, and contractor relationships to extend execution capacity when needed
  • Execute acquisition campaigns hands-on across channels — building, launching, and optimizing programs yourself, while troubleshooting the "last mile" blockers that often arise in complex energy program launches.
  • Execute acquisition email campaigns within an established email growth engine, supporting our Senior Lifecycle Manager on delivery processes
  • Drive campaign delivery across marketing affiliates and partner programs, working closely with the Head of User Acquisition
  • Partner with the Sr Growth Marketing Manager on go-to-market execution for key market initiatives

Requirements

  • Experience: 6+ years of progressive marketing experience, including significant ownership of both campaign execution and operational processes — ideally in a D2C or startup environment
  • Demonstrated AI fluency — use of AI tools in your marketing work, OR formal AI education or coursework. This is a hard requirement.
  • Experience with Braze or similar D2C email and lifecycle platforms (Klaviyo, Iterable, Customer.io, Mailchimp)
  • Hands-on campaign execution across multiple channels and workstreams — you're comfortable in the tools
  • Ability to design, run, and systematize marketing experiments.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to track performance across channels
  • Experience coordinating with external agencies, freelancers, or contractors to extend execution capacity
  • Comfortable with ambiguity — you can create structure where none exists and move forward without a complete playbook
  • A collaborator who works well across functions — Product, Data, Creative, and external partners

Preferred

  • Genuine interest in clean energy, electrification, or climate a plus

Benefits

  • Equity, in the form of share options (granted as a % of your salary)
  • Healthcare options (provided by Cigna & Guardian)
  • Co-working access via WeWork (on-demand or subscription)
  • Annual 'Team Week' whole company offsite
  • L&D allowance of $1,300 per year
