Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive organic account growth in partnership with strategy leads
  • Support pitch development by helping to articulate strategic value propositions
  • Contribute to the creation of client proposals and RFP responses, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Track and report on the performance metrics of client initiatives to optimize investment outcomes
  • Monitor Financial business development workstreams to support goal attainment
  • Conduct market research to assess industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs using the insights to help shape strategies and deliverables
  • Support, create, and execute strategic plans for assigned client accounts, ensuring they align with both client business objectives and market dynamics
  • Develop strategic content for client meetings, workshops, advisory boards, and brand planning sessions
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Creative, Development Operations, Account Services) to integrate insights and ensure the strategic vision is reflected in client deliverables
  • Research and identify key opinion leaders (KOLs) and stakeholders to influence client strategies and advisory board discussions
  • Support the ongoing optimization of internal processes and team efficiency by assisting with tracking metrics and improving operational workflows

Requirements

  • BA in Marketing, Business Communications or a related field
  • 3-5 Years of experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech industries
  • Previous experience with strategic planning, client-facing interactions, and developing tactics for pharmaceutical or biotech clients preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to learn new platforms such as HubSpot and ZoomInfo
  • Familiarity with digital platforms and technology-driven initiatives (experience with mixed reality, digital platforms preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to develop actionable insights
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Creative and strategic thinker, capable of developing innovative ideas that address client needs and market dynamics
