Job Summary
Own asset governance and metadata workflows for a centralized DAM, driving clean cataloging, rights compliance, and cross-team asset governance while enabling scalable automation and improvements.
- Asset governance: standardize metadata, taxonomy, and rights management across Creative, Brand, Programming, and Legal partners.
- Workflow & automation: design schemas and automations; partner with Tech to ensure efficient input fidelity from multiple creators.
- Asset lifecycle: oversee ingestion, tagging, migration of legacy assets, and channel-change assets distribution to support marketing initiatives.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary owner and administrator for SiriusXMâs Marketing Asset Management system (currently AEM).
- Receive, enrich, and catalog creative assets with accurate metadata and supporting documentation.
- Perform retroactive metadata cleanup and organization to improve asset searchability and compliance.
- Manage ingestion and tagging of all new creative and purchased marketing assets, including stock imagery and licensed materials.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. Creative, Brand, Programming, Legal) to maintain consistent asset governance and rights management practices.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of metadata schemas, taxonomy frameworks, and workflow automations. Work with Technology to ensure fidelity & efficiency of inputs from various Creative partners.
- Support digital rights management (DRM) guardrails and ensure compliance with licensing, font usage, and embargoed materials.
- Participate in testing and implementing process improvements, automations, and new DAM features & upgrades.
- Provide training, documentation, and user support to creative and marketing teams.
- Support the migration, organization, and ongoing maintenance of legacy assets as needed.
