Job Summary

Own end to end editorial sponsorship programs, coordinating cross functional teams from pitch through launch and ongoing optimization.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Packaging, operationalizing, and executing digital editorial sponsorship offerings on behalf of our advertising partners across iconic brands like Food & Wine, Travel + Leisure, Allrecipes, People, and more.
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Account Strategy, and Editorial teams; work across advertiser categories and content spanning video, social, audio, and on-site.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing, Account Strategy and Editorial teams to:
  • Develop new packages and refine existing offerings
  • Define and document editorial packaging details, with a focus on post-sale efficiency
  • Act as the main point of contact for these teams during the pitch phase to vet opportunities
  • Maintain knowledge of site capabilities, advertiser expectations, and disclosure requirements
  • Ensure efficient hand-offs of sold editorial packages to the assigned post-sale project manager and assist throughout the lifecycle of the campaign as needed
  • Maintain working knowledge of standard digital ad solutions and organizational policies
  • Identify and develop solutions for process gaps and inefficiencies, with an eye toward scalability

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Business or a related field, or combined relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, digital media, marketing, product management, or project coordination
  • Experience developing and managing production timelines to facilitate work across multiple teams.
  • Experience in the use of collaboration software, such as Airtable, preferred but not required.
  • High attention to detail with consistent follow-through.
  • Be able to think strategically and act tactically. Willing to roll up your sleeves and do what needs to be done to solve problems independently and creatively.
